DEDICATED MODEL This is the basic model of Carbon Silicon Analyser. It has one channel to  test Chemical Composition. This is best suited for oil fired crucible furnaces and cupolas where only    one grade of Cast Iron is produced. This equipment can be upgraded to Model I.
MODEL 1 This equipment offers Chemical Analysis of Molten Metal. This equipment has two selectable channels and two varieties of Cast Iron can be tested on the equipment.        This is suitable for Rotary Furnace and Cupolas.

It enables :

   Pouring , Liquidus & Solidus Temperatures.
   Timely intervention prior to pouring for the desired Chemical Composition.
   Determinaion of % CE, % C and % Si for all grades of hot molten iron.

MODEL2 This Model is used for Chemical Analysis & Temperature readings of molten metal baths. It is best suited for Induction Furnaces, Cupolas and Rotary Furnaces.

It offers :

   All facilities in Model 1.
   Pouring ,  Liquidus & Solidus  Temperature facilities for 2 crusibles.
   Control of Pouring Temperature using in-built  temperature indicator.
  Printing facility using parallel port and remote printing facility using serial port.

Salient Features :

This equipment has total 3 inputs. Two inputs for cups to measure composition and one input for molten metal temperature measurement. With this two stands of cups and one  lance for tips can be connected to the instrument simultaneously.

Optiomal Features  :

  3" /6" big Jumbo display with bright LED's.
  Printer, to print data in memory including Heat Number, Date and Time.
     Printer can be kept at a remote place upto 100 Meters away.
  Computer Interfacing with cooling curve analysis with systematic storage and printout        of Cooling Curve.

MODEL3 Model 3 offers latest technology for Chemical & Thermal Analysis.

It provides :

   All facilities of Model 2.
   A unique Time Saving Program to facilitate pouring of 2 Cups Simultaneously.
   Transfer of the Cooling Curves from the equipment to the Computer.
   Super-Imposition of cooling curves over each other to depict extent of Under-Cooling.

Salient Features:

This equipment is an upgradation of Model II. The instrument has total 3 inputs.  Two inputs for simultaneous scanning of the Carbon Cups. Third input is for Peak Temperature measurement using Pt-PtRh Thermocouple tips.

With the treated cups, along with the liquidus and solidus temperatures, the chemical composition ( % CE, %C & %Si ) is displayed. The extent of undercooling will be measured with the help of untreated cup simultaneously.

Minimum 30 readings will remain in the memory of the Carbon Silicon Analyser. This memory can be extended to 1000 nos. optionally.

Computer interface is provided alongwith the instrument. The stored data is automatically copied from the instrument to the computer. A "text" file is generated in the computer. This file can be opened in Excel to handle the data as per requirement. The data is stored as graphs of cooling curves as well.

The data bank generated especially for the degree of undercooling and mechanical properties, is used in predicting the properties of the future melts, such as micro-structure, micro-shrinkage etc.

Other parameters like Cooling Rate, Area Of Under Cooling, Shrinkage Areas, Inoculation Levels etc. can be obtained by using this equipment. The graphs could be super imposed with a " Good Curve "and deviations in the current batch could be located.
